Alaska Pollock Cutlets

I am glad to share one more recipe for your daily menu. It is a simple but no less delicious dish which will melt in your mouth. Great as a side dish for a lunch of dinner. You may also serve the cutlets as a snack at some weekend party.

These cutlets are also very useful. Alaska pollock contains precious omega 3 fatty acids and iodine.

Ingredients:

  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 150 ml milk
  • 40 ml vegetable oil
  • 2 tbsp breadcrumbs
  • 60 g (2 oz) wheat bread
  • 500 g (1,1 lb) alaska pollock fillet
  • black ground pepper – to taste

Cooking

Soak wheat bread in milk and set aside for a while. Cut the alaska pollock fillet into medium pieces. Add the bread. Stir the mass to combine and mince it. Then add an egg, salt, and pepper. Mix everything carefully until you get homogenous mass. Shape cutlets from the prepared mixture. Cover the cutlets in breadcrumbs. Preheat vegetable oil in a griddle. Fry the cutlets on both sides until golden and crispy. Drain them on absorbent paper. Then transfer the cutlets to a serving plate.
