Apples stuffed with curds

Apples are full of vitamins and available every day of the year. Besides, you can eat it fresh or cooked and take all advantages of nutrient-enriched food. So this fruit is very popular in Ukraine, where you can see a lot of apple trees. That’s why this fruit is cheap and Ukrainian hostesses have thousands recipes how to cook it.

Apples stuffed with curds is very simple dish, even for those people, who haven’t ever tried to cook anything except fried eggs. So if you want to eat soft-meated dessert with evident taste of apples, then try this recipe! All you need are several ingredients: apples, curds, nuts, butter, eggs, and spices. On the final stage of cooking don’t forget to add a little love to make apples stuffed with curds sweeter!

Ingredients:

  • 200 g of curds
  • 8 apples
  • 1/2 glass of raisins
  • 1/2 glass of walnuts/hazelnuts
  • 200 g of dairy butter
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp of sugar
  • 4 tbsp of caster sugar
  • cinnamon

Cooking

Peel nuts and crush them. Place raisins in a bowl and pour with 1/2 glass of hot boiled water. In 5 minutes pull out raisins from the bowl and wait until the water drains. Beat an egg with sugar; add cottage cheese, nuts, raisins and cinnamon. Mix the ingredients properly.

Wash apples, cut out the holes, stuff the fruits with filling and bake them in the oven on a baking sheet greased with dairy butter. Apples should become soft.

Take out apples, cool them and powder with caster sugar.
