Baked fish roe


  • 100 g fresh fish roe (a codfish, a flounder or any other fish)
  • 100 g bulb onion
  • 3-4 tbsp fat cream
  • salt – to taste
  • black ground pepper - – to taste
  • kitchen herbs – to taste


Peel and chop a bulb onion. Combine the onion, fish roe, cream, salt, pepper and kitchen herbs. Grease a baking sheet or a spider with dairy butter. Pour the prepared mass there. Bake the caviar till golden color at 220°C for 20-30 minutes.

Tip! If you add some flour, then you will get a caviar pudding with a crisp and a tender filling.
