Berries and Cream Dessert

Summer is the right time to enjoy fresh fruits and to fill your body with vitamins and supply the body with energy for the whole following year. As you know summer products help to boost our immune system and to maintain electrolyte balance. Plus, fruits digest quickly because they contain lower amounts of fats in comparison to other foods.

So, if you want to stay healthy and in good shape, begin your day with fruit desserts, for instance with this raspberry, sweet cherry, and black currant sweet course. You can cook this fruit dish very quickly and easily. One more advantage of this dessert is that it preserves all nutritive properties of the used ingredients.

Ingredients:

  • 200 ml cream
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 100 g (3,5 oz) raspberry
  • 100 g (3,5 oz) caster sugar
  • 100 g (3,5 oz) sweet cherry
  • 100 g (3,5 oz) black currant
  • 300 g (10,5 oz) curds/ cottage cheese
  • lemon balm leaves

Cooking

Wash all berries thoroughly. Place half of the berries in a blender an whip them until you get a homogenous mass. Sprinkle the remaining berries with lemon juice and powder with caster sugar.

Whip sour cream until thick and fluffy. Combine the cream with curds/ cottage cheese.

Arrange the prepared sweet course in dessert bowls interlacing the berries and cream mass. Pour the berry squash above. Powder everything with caster sugar and decorate with lemon balm leaves. Place the dish in a fridge for half an hour and then serve.
