Cake with strawberry jam

 

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 glass of strawberry jam
  • 1 tbsp of honey
  • 1/2 glass of sugar
  • 1 egg (ground with sugar)
  • 1 tbsp of sunflower oil
  • 2 tbsp of poppyseed
  • 1/2 tsp of soda
  • 1 1/2 glass of flour
  • 9 – 10 strawberries
  • salt – to taste

Cream

  • 400 g of sour cream
  • 6 tbsp of sugar
  • vanilla sugar
  • 1/2 glass of nuts

For shortcake impregnation

  • 1 glass of cranberries ground with sugar
  • 2 tbsp of cognac / rum
  • 0.5 glass of walnuts

Cooking

Combine strawberry jam, honey, and milk. Mix the ingredients and knead the pastry. Grease the baking tray with sunflower oil and bake the cake.

Mix sour cream, nuts, ordinary sugar, and vanilla sugar in order to get the cream. Cut cake into two parts and grease them with cranberry. Powder shortcakes with ground walnuts and pour them with the cream. Then powder again with ground nuts. Join two shortcakes. Decorate the upper one with strawberries.
