Carrot and gooseberry juice

Ingredients:

  • 1 kg carrots
  • 1 kg gooseberries
  • 0.7 kg sugar

Cooking

Peel, chop carrots and stew them well. Grate the vegetables through the sieve. Mash the gooseberries, stew them well and grate the berries. Combine the ingredients and add sugar.

Pour the juice in the jars. Cork up the jars hermetically. Sterilize the half-litre jars – for 15 minutes, litre jars – 20 minutes, two litre jars – 25 minutes. Turn the jars up and cool them.
