Carrot cutlets with raisins and stewed apples

Carrot cutlets are very useful, especially for children. Unlike meat cutlets they are full of vitamins and nutritional chemicals.

Ingredients:

  • 2 green apples
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 580 g (1.5 lb) carrot
  • 60 g (2 oz) raisins
  • 80 g (1/2 cup) semolina
  • 2 tsp dairy butter
  • 1/2 cup of milk
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp wheat flour
  • salt – to taste

Cooking

Scald raisins and cut them finely. Rinse two apples, peel and dice them. Add the raisins and place the ingredients in a frying pan. Pour 1 glass of water above and add 3 tbsp of sugar. Mix everything carefully. Stew the mass till it gets the consistency of a porridge.

Peel carrots and grate them. Add the stewed apples with raisins, 2 tsp of dairy butter, a whipped egg, 1/2 glass of milk, salt, cinnamon, and semolina. Stir the ingredients properly. Take one handful of the mixture and press into an oval shaped cutlet. Repeat for the rest of the mixture. Then dip each cutlet in wheat flour and place on a skillet greased with dairy butter. Shallow fry the cutlets on both sides until dark orange-brown.

Serve the dish with whipped cream or sour cream.

Enjoy your meal!
