Cherry cinnamon roll

Today we bake a delicious cherry cinnamon roll with s slightly sour taste which will make you mouth watered. The combination of cherries and cinnamon will make a marvelous flavour. In addition the cherry pie is soft and tender on the following day.

Ingredients:

  • 200 g (0,44 lb) flour
  • 1 yolk
  • 1 tsp vinegar
  • a pinch of salt
  • 2 tbsp melted dairy butter
  • butter (for greasing)

Stuffing

  • 600 g (1,32 lb) cherries
  • 1/2 glass of sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 100 g (0,22 lb) breadcrumbs

Cooking

Whip yolks with vinegar, add melted dairy butter and whip the mass by the help of a mixer again. Add 1 tablespoon of water if the mass is too thick. Then add flour and knead dough (till it gets elastic consistency). Place the dough in a warm bowl, cover it with a napkin and set aside for 30-40 minutes.

Combine breadcrumbs with sugar and fry them slightly on dairy butter till golden brown. Place cherries in a separate bowl and top them with sugar. Add cinnamon and mix the ingredients.

Roll the dough into layer with 2-3 mm breadth. Grease it with melted dairy butter and top with fried and chopped breadcrumbs. Spread the cherries above evenly and top everything with powdered sugar. Then roll the dough over to cover the mixture and join the edges of the dough tightly. Grease a baking sheet with dairy butter and place the cherry roll in a preheated oven. Bake the dessert at 180°C (356°F) for 30 minutes. Grease the roll with dairy butter during the baking process.

Cut the dessert into portions and serve it hot with herbal of fruit tea.
