You will not overcome the temptation and after tasting this delicious chocolate roll cake with cottage cheese topped with curd hard sauce you will cook it over and over. The chocolate roll is an ideal variant to treat your guests and family on holidays.
- 4 eggs
- 1 glass of sugar
- 1 glass of flour
- 2 tbsp of cocoa powder
- 300 g (0,66 lb) curds
- 1/2 glass of powdered sugar
Decoration of the dish
- 50 g (0,11 lb) baking chocolate
- 2 tbsp cream / milk
- sunflower oil
Separate whites of the egg and yolks. Whip the whites by the help of a mixer. Then add sugar and froth the whites. Next put the yolks, stir everything and add flour with cocoa powder. Beat the ingredients by the help of a mixer again.
Place the prepared dough on a baking tray covered with parchment paper beforehand. Bake the cake in the preheated oven at 220°C (428°F) for 5-10 minutes.
Combine curds and powdered sugar. Beat the ingredients properly.
Don’t cool the cake and grease it with the prepared hard sauce (do not grease one edge of the crust – approximately 7 cm of it). Leave some sauce in order to grease the top of the roll. Then fold the cake in the form of a roll (beginning with the edge soaked with the hard sauce and ending with the edge without the hard sauce). Place the roll in a fridge for an hour. Then put it on a plate, grease the cake with the remaining hard sauce and leave the dessert at room temperature for half an hour. Cut the chocolate role into portions and serve.
Enjoy your meal!
