Fruit ice – it is a flavoured, refreshing, and light dessert which will definitely appreciate your kids. It is bright and colorful. So if you want to surprise your family with an unusual dessert – go straight to the kitchen and coo this fruit ice cream.
- 130 g (0,29 lb) yoghurt
- 3 medium kiwis
- 100 ml apple juice
- 150 – 200 g (0,33 – 0,44 lb) strawberries
- 3 tbsp sugar
- a couple of mint twigs
Pour apple juice in a stewpan. Add 2 tbsp of sugar, heat the juice and gradually stir the mixture until smooth. Do not bring the syrup to boiling.
Chop mint twigs, combine them with yoghurt and the remaining sugar. Stir the mass till the sugar dissolves.
Tip! You can use powdered sugar instead of simple sugar because it is easier to dissolve it in cold yoghurt.
Peel kiwis, chop them coarsely. Wash strawberries. Mash the fruits in a blender separately.
Divide the apple syrup in half. Combine one part of the syrup with the strawberry squash and the second part of the syrup with the kiwi squash.
Fill ice-cream freezer containers with the strawberry squash 1/3full. Place in a deep freeze for 30 minutes. Then add the yoghurt (fill 2/3 of the container). Refrigerate the dessert for 30 minutes. Place popsickle sticks inside the ice cream and pour everything with the kiwi squash and froze for 2 hours.
Then place the containers in boiling water for 5 seconds – in that case the ice cream would be easier to take out. Serve the dessert at once.
Enjoy your meal!
