- 100-120 g (0,22 – 0,26 lb) melted dairy butter
- a loaf of French bread (400-500 g) (0,88 – 1,1 lb)
- 150 g (0,33 lb) hard cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 garlic bulbs
- handful parsley
- a pinch of salt
Smash the heads of garlic in order to release the cloves. Place them on a baking sheet covered with foil and top the garlic with olive oil. Bake it at 170°C (338°F) till soft. Then cool the garlic and squeeze the soft garlic cloves out of their skins.
Melt dairy butter. Grate cheese and cut washed parsley finely. Toss all the ingredients together. Next add the baked garlic. Sprinkle everything with salt and pepper. Stir the mass thoroughly.
Slice a loaf of French bread and place the bread slices on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper. Preheat the oven to 240°C (464°F). Spread the prepared garlic and cheese mass over the bread slices. Bake the bread till toasty and golden. Next remove the appetizer from the oven and let it cool a little.
Enjoy your meal!
