Luscious Banana Walnut Smoothie

Get energized for a whole day with this healthy and protein-packed smoothie. This drink is full of nutritious goodies. Bananas are great for your health, and so are walnuts, oat flakes, almond milk, and honey. What is more, bananas are a perfect match with walnuts for a creamy base.

You can serve this delicious and thick smoothies as breakfast or lunch. Making it a quick, simple, filling, and nutritious dish on the run!

Ingredients:

  • 2 bananas
  • 3 tsp honey
  • 1/2 cup oat flakes
  • 250 ml almond milk
  • 100 g (3,5 oz) walnuts
  • cardamom – to taste
  • cinnamon – to taste

Cooking

Peel bananas, cut them into chunks  and place in a blender. Peel walnuts and add them to the blender. Put oat flakes above. Then pour almond milk and honey in the blender. Whip on low speed until the ingredients start to mix together. Then increase to high speed and blend everything until you reach a smooth consistency. Pour the smoothie into glasses, top with oat flakes, and serve immediately.
