Pampushka with garlic

Pampushka - a sort of fritter but rather spicy one. This type of baked goods is usually served with borsch.


  • 400 g of wheat flour
  • 1 tbsp of sugar
  • 12 g of yeast
  • 1/2  tbsp of sunflower oil
  • 3/4 glasses of water
  • salt – to taste


  • 30 g of garlic
  • 1 tbsp of sunflower oil
  • 1/2 glass of kvass / water


Dissolve yeast in warm water. Add 100 g of flour, sugar, and salt. Knead the dough and leave it in a warm place until it ferments. Then add 300 g of flour, sunflower oil to the dough. Knead thoroughly and make the dough rise.

Make balls. The weight of each should not be more than 25 g. Wait till the dough rises. Bake balls in the oven.


Press garlic, add sunflower oil and kvass or water.

Pour pampushka with sauce before serving.
