Pork stew with beer

Pork stew with beer is a dainty dish which can cook even those who have no culinary abilities. The meat is soft and tender while it is frying and stewing in beer at the same time. The pork can be served cold if you will not give in to temptation and eat everything at once.

Ingredients:

  • 500 g (1,1 lb) pork (rump steak)
  • 2 tbsp dairy butter (lard)
  • 1 carrot
  • 1/2 parsley root
  • 1 bulb onion
  • 2 black peppercorns
  • 1/2 tsp bayberry
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 2 glasses of beer
  • 1 tsp dried mint

Cooking

Wash pork and cut it into medium pieces. Preheat lard or dairy butter in a frying pan. Salt the meat and fry it until golden brown. Peel a carrot and a bulb onion. Cut them into circles. Peel and slice a parsley root. Combine the prepared ingredients. Add black peppercorns, bayberry, bay leaf, and dried mint. Mix everything and place in a deep pan. Pour the beer above. Stew the pork till soft and juicy. The meat should be covered with beer completely during the cooking.
