Potato Flapjacks with Ham, Cheese, and Dill

When you mix potatoes, ham, hard cheese, dill, and onion together, you really create a fantastic dish.

These cheesy and crispy potato pancakes are great as a side dish, snack or a meal served with a salad.

Crispy golden and cheesy, these potato pancakes will be the star of your next dinner.

You might want to cook a second portion of these mouthwatering potato pancakes, because they will be eaten in a matter of minutes.

Ingredients:

  • 2 eggs
  • 6 potatoes
  • 4 tbsp flour
  • 1 bulb onion
  • 200 g (7 oz) ham
  • 200 g (7 oz) hard cheese
  • black ground pepper – to taste
  • vegetable oil – to taste
  • fresh dill – to taste
  • salt – to taste

Cooking

Peel a bulb onion and potatoes. Grate the ingredients. Add diced ham and grated cheese. Then add eggs, flour, and chopped dill. Adjust salt and pepper to your taste. Stir everything carefully.

Preheat vegetable oil in a frying pan. Add a full ladle of the prepared mixture to the frying pan, swirl the pan so that the mixture is evenly distributed and fry the pancake on both sides until golden. Repeat until you use all the mixture.

Serve the potato pancakes with sour cream.
