Raspberry and Sponge Cake Dessert

Yummy and easy to make, this luscious dessert with berries and sponge cake will hit the spot.  All flavors you wish to have on St. Valentine’s Day you will get here in every bite.

Raspberries have a delicate texture and unforgettable fragrance while sponge cake is super soft and tender.

Amazingly sweet and tender this layered dessert could not be any dreamier.

Ingredients:

  • 230 ml sour cream
  • 6 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 600 g (21 oz) raspberry
  • 300 g (10,5 oz) sponge cake

Cooking

Wash raspberries thoroughly. Combine half of the raspberries with sugar. Cut a sponge cake into medium pieces. Whip sour cream until smooth.

Take glass tumblers and put some sponge cake there. Add some raspberries and sour cream above. Repeat the procedure (alternating the layers of the sponge cake and raspberries with sour cream) until you use all the ingredients. Place the dessert in a refrigerator for a couple of hours. Decorate it with raspberries before serving.
