Stewed Brussel Sprouts with Lemon Juice

If you think that you don’t like brussel sprouts, then after trying this dish you’ll change your mind.

These delicious brussel sprouts will make a believer out of anyone. Moreover,  this dish is so yummy that even your children will eat it with pleasure.

Olive oil, lemon juice, and sun-dried tomatoes are all you need to add an intense flavor to the Brussel sprouts. They will taste irresistibly good.

This dish is a good idea for a holiday table set. Don’t hold back to cook and try this amazingly tasty dish.

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 cup of water
  • 3 tbsp lemon juice
  • fresh parsley (for serving)
  • 350 g (12 oz) brussel sprouts
  • 100 g (3,5 oz) sun-dried tomatoes
  • black ground pepper – to taste
  • salt – to taste

Cooking

Wash brussel sprouts thoroughly. Slice the brussel sprouts thinly. Pour water above and stew them for 10 minutes. Then adjust salt and black pepper to your taste. Uncover, pour olive oil above, and continue to cook for 10 minutes more, stirring occasionally.

Remove from the heat and transfer the brussel sprouts to a platter. Sprinkle the dish with lemon juice. Slice sun-dried tomatoes and place them on the platter. Rinse fresh parsley and decorate the dish. Serve hot.
