Berry kissel (jelly)

Fruit table jellyIngredients:

  • 500 g of any berries
  • 1.5 l (liter) of water
  • 1 glass of sugar
  • 1 glass of wine
  • 1/4 tsp of ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp of cloves
  • 1/4 tsp of ground citron
  • 1 tsp of lemon juice/ citric acid
  • 1 glass of water (for syrup)

Cooking

Wash and grate fresh berries through a sieve. You should get a berry sauce. Put the mass which you do not manage to grate in a pan. Add water, sugar, wine, cinnamon, cloves, ground citron and citric acid. Stir the mixture and boil it. Then filter the syrup, add lemon juice or citric acid. Mix everything carefully. Combine the berry sauce with the syrup. Pour the jelly in dessert bowls, cool it and place in a fridge until thickens, for 3 hours.

Decorate the jelly with some berries before serving.
