Apple Pear Drink

Fall apples and pears are good for eating out of hand, baking or adding to salads, but they can also become a wonderful seasonal addition to drinks.

You will like this Ukrainian compote for its aromatic scent and delicate taste. The sweetness of the apples and pears is perfectly combined by the slightly sour flavor of red currants.

Start your day with a healthy breakfast and awaken your body with this awesome fruit drink.

Ingredients:

  • 2 pears
  • 1 apple
  • 1,5 tbsp sugar
  • 1 l (liter) of water
  • 100 g (3,5 oz) red currants

Cooking

Wash an apple and pears. Peel the fruits.  Remove cores and seeds from the pears and apple and dice them. Pour water in a pan and bring it to boil. Then add the fruits and rinsed red currants. Add sugar and stir everything carefully. Boil the drink for 20 minutes. Cool it and serve.
