Cake with nuts


  • 2.5 glasses of flour
  • 400 g of sugar
  • 10 yolks
  • 1 lemon
  • 10 whites of the egg
  • 400 g of nuts/almonds
  • 400 g of candied fruits
  • dairy butter
  • a bar of chocolate


Grind sugar with yolks, add juice of 1 lemon and flour gradually. Mix everything thoroughly. Combine the mass with stiffly beaten up whites, ground fried nuts or almonds, and finely cut candied fruits. Knead the pastry thoroughly.

Grease a baking tray with dairy butter and transfer the pastry there. Put the tray in an oven and bake the cake over medium heat until golden and fluffy.

Melt chocolate and pour it over the cake. Arrange the nuts above.
