Carp with honey sauce


  • 1 kg of carp
  • 20 g of gelatin
  • 50 g of honey
  • 50 g of raisins
  • 1 bulb onion
  • black ground pepper – to taste
  • parsley - to taste
  • salt – to taste


Scale the carp and cut it into pieces. Put the fish in a pan. Add salt, pepper, chopped bulb onion, and parsley. Pour cold water above and boil the ingredients.

When the fish is thoroughly done, filter the broth where the carp was boiled and cool it. Dissolve gelatin in water and add to the broth, bring it to boil and cool. After add raisins and honey. Stir the mixture.

Place the boiled carp in bowls, pour the broth above, top the dish with parsley and cool. Put the bowls in a fridge to let the jelly thicken.

Tip! You can decorate the carp with caviar and boiled carrot.
