Carrot cake



  • 3 eggs
  • 0.5 – 1 glass of sugar
  • 150 g carrot
  • 1 glass of flour
  • 1,5 tsp leaven


  • 0.5 – 1 lemon
  • 150-250 g sour cream
  • 1/2 glass of sugar


Grate a carrot and juice it. Combine eggs and sugar. Whip the mass. Add the carrot, flour and leaven. Grease a baking dish with dairy butter or simply cover it with parchment paper. Pour the prepared dough there. Bake the cake in the preheated oven at 180°C for 30 minutes. Check whether it is cooked or not by the help of a toothpick. Cool the cake.


Boil a lemon in a big quantity of water in order to reduce the bitter taste. Cut the fruit in half and remove the seeds. Mince or grate the lemon. Combine it with sour cream. Whip the mixture.

Cut the crust in half and grease each layer with the prepared cream. Leave the carrot cake for a night and let it soak in.
