Carrot pinnyk

The preparation of this light and healthy dessert will not take much of your time.


  • 1 kg of carrots
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 1 cup of ground rusks
  • 1 1/2 tbsp of dairy butter
  • 1 tbsp of sugar
  • 3/4 cups of sour cream


Peel, chop and stew carrots with some milk and butter. Soak rusks in warm milk and add them to the carrot mass. Stir the mass and mince it through the mincing machine.

Grate yolks with sugar. Add the yolks, salt and beaten up whites to the carrot mass. Grease a deep stewing pan with dairy butter and pour the mass there. Bake the pinnyk until golden crust.

Serve the dessert with sour cream.
