Super bright decoration is sure to jazz up your festive table. Juicy red and green colors will enliven the whole dish.

The recipe for this cheese salad is pretty easy. The dish includes hard cheese and eggs, tossed and combined with garlic and a generous dollop of mayonnaise.

Ingredients:

  • 2-3 chicken eggs
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 2-3 cherry tomatoes
  • 300 g (10,5 oz) hard cheese
  • a package of round crackers
  • spring onions – to taste
  • mayonnaise – to taste

Cooking

Grate hard cheese finely. Hard boil and peel eggs. Grate them finely as well. The eggs will make our salad, tender and airy. Peel garlic cloves and crush them using a garlic press (you may add more garlic if you’re into that sort of thing). Add mayonnaise and mix everything carefully. You should get a thick and smooth mass. You may add ground  black pepper if you want. Take a plate and put a glass above, in the center. Shape the ‘wreath’ using the cheese mass. Place your favorite crackers around our ‘wreath’.

Wash spring onions and cut into strips. Rinse cherry tomatoes and cut them in fourths.

Tip! You may roll the cheese mass in lettuce leaves or you can grease pieces of cucumbers with the cheese mass to get a light cheesy-vegetable starter.

Enjoy your meal!
