Cocoa Cake with Grapes

If you are a sweet tooth, then you’ll surely like this cake. It features tender chocolaty taste and flavor. Each piece of this awesome cake is fairly sweet and moist. Crusts are softened with caramelized milk. Green grapes impart the cake summer mood and relish.

  • 6 eggs
  • 150 g (5 oz) sugar
  • 110 g (9 tbsp) flour
  • 45 g (1,5 oz) dairy butter
  • 30 g (1 oz) cocoa powder
  • caramelized milk – to taste
  • green grapes (for decoration)


Wash eggs and separate yolks from whites. Add sugar to the yolks. Whip the yolks until fluffy.

Whip whites separately until peaked (for 5 minutes). Add remaining sugar to the mass gradually.

Mix the whites with yolks. Stir in sifted flour and cocoa powder. Stir the mass neatly.

Then add melted dairy butter and mix carefully.

Cover two baking trays with parchment paper. Separate the prepared mass into two parts and fill the trays.

Bake the cake in the preheated oven at 190-200°C (374-392°F) for 30 minutes. Then let the cake cool for 10 minutes. Grease each layer with caramelized milk and decorate the cake with green grapes.
