Curd doughnut


  • 250 g (1/2 lb) cottage cheese/curds
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 100 g (3,5 oz) flour
  • 1 tsp soda
  • 1 tsp vinegar
  • 5 apples
  • dairy butter


Grate curds with eggs and 1 tbsp of sugar. Add flour, salt, and soda. Knead the pastry. Peel apples and grate them on the sieve. Combine them with 1 tbsp of sugar. Slice the pastry, roll it and place the filling above. Shape little balls and fry them on dairy butter.

Powder the curd doughnuts with sugar before serving.
