Doughnuts with apples

This doughnut recipe will become a family favorite. Your children will especially love this fluffy doughnut with apple stuffing.


  • 6 big apples
  • 1 glass sugar
  • 2 glasses milk
  • 3 glasses flour
  • 2 glasses cream
  • a pinch of yeast
  • 100 g (3,5 oz) dairy butter
  • vegetable oil (for frying)
  • powdered sugar
  • salt – to taste


Dissolve yeast in warm milk. Add 1,5 glass of flour and knead dough. Leave it in a warm place to rise until doubled in size. After add eggs, warm dairy butter, salt, the half glass of sugar. Knead the dough again until it will not stick to hands. Let the dough rise for the second time.

Rinse, peel and grate apples. Dredge them with sugar. Roll the dough with layer thickness – 2 cm. Cut out the circles. Place the stuffing above. Fold the dough over to cover the filling and crimp the edges.

Fry doughnuts in boiling oil. Transfer them to a paper towel and let extra oil drain. After putting the doughnuts on a serving plate, top them with powdered sugar.
