Dumplings with Chicken Filling


The recipe for these dumplings is both simple and time-saving.

In addition, you may cook these dumplings beforehand and keep them in a freezer until you’ll need them.

This dish is nourishing and will become a good solution for family dinner. Tender and juicy chicken seasoned with black pepper and coriander makes the filling flavorful and savory.


  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3 cups of flour
  • 2/3 cup of water


  • 2-3 bulb onions
  • 600 g (21 oz) chicken
  • ground coriander – to taste
  • black ground pepper – to taste
  • salt – to taste


Sift flour gradually and add salt, egg, and water. Knead the dough and leave it for 30-40 minutes.

Let’s cook the filling. Cut chicken into medium pieces. Peel bulb onions and chop them. Combine the chicken and bulb onions. Mince the ingredients and add salt, pepper, and coriander.

Roll the dough into the layer with 1-2 mm thickness. Cut out the circles with the help of a cup. Arrange the filling in the center of each circle and crimp the edges of the circle tightly.

Boil dumplings in salted water until done. You can serve the dumplings with dairy butter, sour cream, mustard, horseradish, soy sauce, vinegar, whatever you like.
