Tuna stuffed eggs

The Easter is coming, so you are going to paint eggs and have a lot of them to eat. And why not to vary your menu and not to eat just eggs, but use them for cooking a delicious appetizer – eggs stuffed with tuna?

Chicken eggs stuffed with a cheesy-fish-pickle filling. Doesn’t it sound yummy? This easy-to-make starter is perfect just for any party. No matter whether it’ll be family gatherings or get-together with friends. This dish is delicious anytime.

The eggs are light yet at the same time hearty. Plus, they are bright and really appetizing. I bet you won’t stop with just one! The creamy-tuna mixture perfectly pairs with crunchy cucumbers and makes the eggs irresistible.

However, these stuffed eggs not only taste heavenly, they also look festive. Garnished with ruby pomegranate seeds and juicy lettuce leaves, they’ll quickly catch the eyes of your guests. Such a starter makes a lovely centerpiece and can be eaten in minutes. Be ready for that)

Ingredients:

  • 10 eggs
  • a tin of tuna
  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp of cream cheese
  • 3 little pickled cucumbers
  • pomegranate (for decoration)
  • lettuce leaves – to taste
  • fresh dill – to taste

Cooking

Hard boil and peel eggs. Cut them in half lengthwise. Then scoop out the yolks and place them in a bowl. Cut the tuna into pieces and add it to the yolks. Add cream cheese and mayonnaise. Chop pickled cucumbers finely and add them to the mass. Stir everything until smooth. Spoon the prepared filling into hollowed out egg halves. Garnish the eggs with lettuce leaves and fresh dill. Peel a pomegranate and top the eggs with pomegranate seeds. Our canned tuna and egg starter is done and ready for serving!
