Kissel with yolks


  • 5 glasses of milk
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 glass of sugar
  • 1.5 tbsp of wheat flour
  • vanilla powder


Grate yolks with sugar. Dissolve flour with some milk and whip it with yolks. Bring to boil milk and add cooked yolks quickly. Do not bring to the second boiling. Yolks can be boiled under slow concitation. Then turn off the fire and add stiffly frothed whites (at the same time stir quickly). Pour kissel in a dish and put it in the fridge. Serve kissel with jam.
