Lemon cake


  • 200 g of dairy butter
  • 50 g of yeast
  • 0.5 glass of milk
  • 1 lemon
  • 2.5 glass of milk
  • 350 g of granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp of caster sugar


Grate 2 tbsp of sugar with yeast. Salt dairy butter and combine it with yeast and milk. Mix the mass thoroughly. Knead the pastry. Divide it into 2 pieces and roll each of them separately. The breadth of the layer should be no more than 1.5 cm. Place one layer on the baking tray.


Wash lemon and pour it with boiling water. Grate lemon and rind on a little grater. Add 1.5 glass of sugar. Place filling on the pastry and put the second layer above. Join the edges of the pastry and bake lemon pie in the oven for 25 minutes. Then powder it with caster sugar. Decorate the pie with slices of lemon and whipped cream.
