Millet cutlets with carrot


Millet is rich in proteins the content level of which exceeds the content in rice and barley. The millet contains the vitamins of group B a lot more than in the other cereals. This cereal also aids to the elimination of toxins. In addition, these millet cutlets with carrot filling are very yummy.


  • 260 g millet
  • 60 g carrots
  • 15 g cooking butter
  • 5 eggs
  • 10 g ground rusks
  • salt – to taste
  • vegetable oil
  • sour cream


Peel and slice carrots. Combine them with oil and water (5% oil and 10% water in the ratio to the carrot weight). Combine the ingredients and mince them.

Boil millet. Add the carrot puree, eggs and salt. Mix everything thoroughly. Form the cutlets from the prepared mixture. Crumb the cutlets in ground rusks and fry them on cooking butter.

Serve the millet cutlets with sour cream.
