Mushroom, cheese, and ham salad

If you want to cook an unusual and delicious salad, then keep in mind this recipe. This mushroom, cheese, and ham salad salad will impress your guests with its simpleness and refinement at the same time.


  • 500 g (1,1 lb) ham
  • 250 g (0,55 lb) hard cheese
  • 200 g (0,44 lb) fresh champignons
  • 2 bulb onions
  • 2 cherry tomatoes
  • 2-3 potatoes
  • 200 g (0,44 lb) mayonnaise
  • vegetable oil (for frying)


Cut ham finely. Grate cheese. Boil, peel and dice potatoes. Peel bulb onions and champignons. Chop the ingredients and preheat oil in a frying pan. Fry the mushrooms and onion till nice and golden brown, about 2-3 minutes. Wash and cut tomatoes in halves.

Toss all the components together and mix them thoroughly. Pour the mayonnaise above and toss to coat.

Tip! You can add pickled cucumbers as well. They will give the salad a special zest and crunch.

The salad can be also served as an appetizer and you can spoon it onto a bread slices or hot toasts.
