- 1 kg new potatoes
- 300 g sour cream
- 3 cloves of garlic
- a bunch of fresh dill
- a piece of dairy butter
- salt – to taste
- ground black pepper – to taste
Wash and peel potatoes. Place them in a pan and pour with water. Add salt and bring the water to boil. Cook the potatoes over low heat. Wash and chop dill. Combine dill and sour cream in a separate bowl. Add salt and squeezed garlic. Stir the ingredients carefully until you get a homogenous sauce.
Pour out the water and place the pan on a cookstove again in order to let the remained water evaporate. Add dairy butter and mix everything. Pour the potatoes with sour cream sauce and stir the ingredients again. Cover the lid tightly and let the potatoes soak 15 minutes.
