Pear jam with poppy seads



  • 500 g pears
  • 150 g sugar
  • 1/2 lemon
  • 3 tbsp poppy seeds


Peel the pears and remove the kernels. Cube them. Squeeze the lemon. Combine the pears, lemon juice and sugar. Leave the ingredients for 2 hours to let the juice erase. Then place the jam in a pan. Bring it to boil and cook over low heat for 20 minutes. Mix in a blender half of the fruits and place them in the pan again. Fry the poppy seeds on a dry frying pan. Add it to the fruits. Boil the jam for 5-10 minutes more.

Sterilize the jars and pour the hot jam there. Cork up the jars hermetically and cool them.
