Potato roll with beef filling


  • 1 kg of potato
  • 200 g of beef
  • 2 tbsp of dairy butter
  • 1.5 tbsp of starch
  • 1 bulb onion
  • 1 egg
  • breadcrumbs
  • salt – to taste
  • black ground pepper– to taste


Wash beef and cut it into small pieces. Stew, cool and mince the meat. Add finely chopped and fried bulb onion, salt and pepper. Mix everything properly.

Boil potatoes. Peel and grate them, add starch, raw egg, and salt. Mix the ingredients thoroughly. Take foil and place the potato mass on it. Arrange the minced meat above and shape the mass in the form of a roll. Grease the roll with dairy butter.

Take a baking tray, grease it with butter, powder with breadcrumbs. Transfer the prepared roll there. Put the tray in an oven and bake the roll until golden and crispy.
