  • 100 g (0,22 lb) processed cheese
  • 2 potatoes
  • 2 bulb onions
  • 1 tbsp pearl barley
  • 1 tbsp dairy butter
  • 3 glasses of water
  • salt – to taste
  • dill – to taste
  • parsley – to taste
  • rusks


Wash pearl barley and pour it with water for 3-4 hours. Then pour out water. Pour pearl barley with water again and bring it to boil, cook it for 15-20 minutes. Next add peeled and chopped potato. Season the dish with salt. Boil the ingredients for 10 minutes. Add peeled, chopped and sauteed bulb onions, sliced processed cheese. Cook the soup for 7-8 minutes more.

Serve the potato soup with rusks, chopped fresh dill and parsley.
