Potato soup with spareribs and beans

Serve for dinner this delicious potato soup with spareribs and beans. The dish is good to treat a big family while the soup is rich and nourishing. The combination of pork and beans gives the soup a special flavour.

Ingredients:

  • 500 g (1,1 lb) spareribs
  • 2 l (liter) of water
  • 4-5 potatoes
  • 1 carrot
  • 2 bulb onions
  • 150 g (0,33 lb) beans
  • 1/2 tsp coriander
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tps paprika
  • 2 tbsp sunflower oil
  • salt – to taste

Cooking

Wash pork ribs, cut them and pour with 2 liters of water. Salt the meat and bring water to boil. Remove scum from time to time and boil the pork till done. Filter the broth, pour it in a pan again and place the spareribs there. Bring the broth to boil over low heat.

Peel and chop potatoes. Add them to the boiling broth. Peel and cut a carrot into circles. Add the vegetable along with beans, coriander, paprika, black pepper and salt. Cook the dish for 5 minutes.

Peel and cut bulb onions finely. Place them in a pan. Bring the soup to boil again and cook it till done.

Ladle the potato soup into bowls and serve hot with toasts.
