Rice noodles with prawns

Let’s cook tender noodles with juicy shrimps under savoury sauce. The dish is light, harmonious, and toothsome. By the way, you can also add any other seafood such as calamaries, mussels, scallops, etc. These rice noodles with prawns is a good idea to cook and serve your guests.

Ingredients:

  • 200 g (0,44 lb) rice noodles
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 3 bulb onions
  • 300 g (0,66 lb) prawns
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp gingili oil
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tsp curry powder
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 30 g (0,07 lb) cilantro
  • sesame seeds (for decoration)

Cooking

Place rice noodles in a pan and cover them with boiling water. Cover the lid and set aside for 10 minutes or until just softened. Place the noodles on a colander and drain.

Peel a bell pepper, remove the seeds and cut off a pedicle. Chop the pepper. Peel bulb onions and cut them into thin slices. Wash and chop cilantro finely. Peel and squeeze garlic.

Take a sauce pan and combine soy sauce, curry powder, half of the chopped cilantro, garlic, lemon juice, curry powder and 3 tbsp of the water from the pan where the noodles were. Place the mixture in a pan and cook over low heat. Boil the ingredients, stirring continuously, for 3 minutes.

Wash prawns, bring water to boil and cook the prawns until they are pink. Then cool the shrimps and remove the shells.

Chop rice noodles and place on a plate. Add the prepared prawns, onion, pepper and the remaining cilantro. Mix everything carefully. Pour the dish with the prepared sauce. Serve the noodles hot with sesame seeds on top.
