Ukrainian people like potatoes very much and have a lot of recipes of how to cook yummy potatoes. Today I’m going to share one amazing recipe for potatoes baked in an oven and served with cream-garlic sauce.
These roasted potatoes can become a quick, easy, and what is more, a tasty solution for your dinner or supper. They taste deliciously crispy and have a bright golden color. Isn’t your mouth watering already? Then what are you waiting for? Start cooking right away!
- 3 potatoes
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 2 green onions
- some dill twigs
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 3 tbsp sour cream
- black ground pepper – to taste
- red ground pepper – to taste
- salt – to taste
Wash potatoes thoroughly and peel them. Cut the potatoes into halves and put them in a bowl. Pour olive oil above. Season the potatoes with black ground pepper, red ground pepper, and salt. Stir to combine.
Preheat an oven to 200°C (392°F). Cover the baking tray with parchment paper. Arrange the potatoes on the tray. Bake the potatoes until they turn crispy, about 40 minutes.
Wash green onions and dill twigs. Chop them finely. Pour sour cream in a separate bowl. Peel garlic cloves and squeeze them. Add the dill and green onions. Mix the ingredients carefully.
Place the hot potatoes on a serving plate and pour the garlic sauce above.
