Semolina pudding with apples and raisins


  • 150 g of milk
  • 5 tsp of sifted semolina
  • 1 egg
  • 1 apple
  • 2-3 tbsp of sugar
  • 40-50 g of raisins
  • dried breadcrumbs
  • dairy butter
  • salt – to taste
  • sugar – to taste


Bring milk to boil. Add sifted semolina, sugar, and salt. Cook cream of wheat. Put yolk and melted dairy butter in warm semolina. Mix everything thoroughly. Froth white of an egg stiffly and mix with cold semolina. Peel and cut apple. Stew apple, and 2-3 tsp of sugar over low heat.

Grease the baking tray with dairy butter, powder it with breadcrumbs. Place a layer of semolina, then raisins and apple, then semolina again. Pour pudding with melted dairy butter, powder it with dried breadcrumbs and bake.
