Strawberry liqueur



  • 1 kg wild strawberry
  • a handful of strawberry
  • 750 ml water
  • 1 liter spirits
  • 1 kg sugar
  • 1/2 glass brandy (cognac)


Scald a jar with boiling water and place washed berries there. Pour spirits and 1 glass of water. Leave the mass for a week. Shake it from time to time. Then filter the liquid and pour it out in another jar. Cover the jar tightly and put in a dark place. Powder the berries with sugar and shake them properly. Cover the berries with some layers of the cheesecloth and put under the sun or in a warm place for 3 weeks. Then filter the syrup and combine it with alcoholic tincture. Pour the berries with water, shake them and filter. Add this liquid and brandy/cognac to the liqueur. Leave the liqueur for 2 weeks more and filter it again.
