Stuffed vegetable marrows

Ingredients:

6 portions

  • 1 kg of vegetable marrows
  • 300 g of minced meat
  • 100 g of rice
  • 200 g of tomatoes
  • 150 g of cheese
  • 150 g of bulb onion / leek
  • sunflower oil
  • dill / parsley – to taste
  • salt – to taste
  • pepper – to taste

Cooking

Boil rice. Cut vegetable marrows into 2 pieces. Remove the pulp. Cube it. Slice bulb onion or cut leek. Cut tomatoes into small pieces. Cut dill / parsley finely. Grate cheese. Fry bulb onion / leek on the sunflower oil. Add minced meat and fry for 10 minutes. Add tomatoes and fry for 10 minutes more. Add rice, salt, and pepper. Mix the ingredients. Add dill / parsley and cool the mass slightly. Stuff the vegetable marrows with this filling. Powder them with cheese. Bake the vegetable marrows at 180°C for 25-30 minutes.

Tip! It is recommended to use young vegetable marrows. If you cook old ones – peel them. You can use eggplants instead of vegetable marrows.
