This salted herring, bulb onion, and egg appetizer is a good variant to be served with Ukrainian horilka (vodka). The appetizer is rather rich and easy to cook. Men will especially appreciate such a snack.
- 2 salted herring fillets
- 1 bulb onion
- 2 eggs
- 50 g dairy butter
- a loaf of brown bread
- a couple of parsley twigs
Cut brown bread into thin slices. Grease them with warmed dairy butter. Cut herring fillets into medium pieces. Place them above the bread.
Boil eggs. Peel them and then cut in half each. Peel a bulb onion and cut it into circles. Put the eggs on the pieces of bread. Next add the onion. Decorate the chaser with parsley.
Enjoy your meal!
