You can taste salo spread in many Ukrainian restaurants. This salo seasoned with garlic, pepper, coriander, and paprika is very delicious and easy to cook. It is usually served with slices of black bread, horseradish, and pickled cucumbers.
- 400 g (0,88 lb) salo
- 1 clove of garlic
- a pinch of ground coriander
- 1 tsp of salt
- black ground pepper – to taste
- red ground pepper – to taste
- paprika – to taste
- dill / parsley – to taste
- slices of black bread
Mince salo or hash it in a blender. Peel and squeeze garlic. Combine the prepared salo, garlic, black and red pepper, coriander, paprika and salt. Mix the ingredients carefully.
Dry slices of black bread in an oven slightly or you may brown them a little in a frying pan.
Grease the bread with the cooked chaser and serve.
