Ukrainian muffins


  • 600 g of flour
  • 100 g of dairy butter
  • 100 g of caster sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 30 g of yeast
  • 1/2 glass of water
  • 50 g of raisins
  • 25 g of candied fruits
  • 0.5 tsp of salt
  • vanilla – to taste


Dissolve yeast in warm water and add flour. Mix the ingredients and leave them for 1 hour. Meanwhile combine diced dairy butter with caster sugar and eggs thoroughly. Add this mass to the flour. Mix everything and stir in salt and vanilla. Knead the dough. Then add raisins, chopped candied fruits and mix.

Grease baking cups with butter and powder them with flour. Place the dough there and let it rise.

Bake the muffins for 45 minutes.
