Ukrainian salad with chicken and cheese


  • 300 g of chicken breast
  • 2 bulb onions
  • 150 g processed cheese
  • 3 eggs
  • vinegar
  • prunes
  • mayonnaise
  • salt – to taste
  • sugar – to taste


Cut bulb onions in the form of a ring, salt them, add sugar and vinegar. Mix the ingredients and leave for 3 hours. Then place the onion to a colander and let the emerged juice drain. After mix the onion with mayonnaise.

Boil chicken and cut it into pieces. Combine meat with mayonnaise and the onion. These ingredients will form the first layer of your salad. Grate boiled eggs and place above the meat. The last salad layer is the grated processed cheese. Do not forget to put mayonnaise between layers. However, keep in mind the fact that you should not put too much mayonnaise. Place the salad in a fridge for a couple of hours. You can decorate the salad with prunes.
