Vanilla Soufflé

Let’s cook a light and full of vanilla flavor dessert that is guaranteed to impress your guests at a dinner party. You can also bake this souffle for a casual supper with your family.

This melt-in-the-mouth dessert with a creamy texture which is delicately accompanied with vanilla is definitely worth trying. Don’t hold back to cook it. Moreover, this soufflé has a rather simple recipe which doesn’t require any special tools or skills. Once you’ve got the hang of this recipe, feel free to experiment. You can add nuts, raisins, etc. Let your imagination run free.

Ingredients:

  • 5 eggs
  • 3 tbsp dairy butter
  • 3 tbsp wheat flour
  • 1 tsp vanilla sugar
  • 3/4 cup of hot milk
  • 1/4 cup of powdered sugar
  • salt – to taste

Cooking

Melt dairy butter in a stewpan. Add flour and salt. Mix the ingredients. Then pour hot milk constantly stirring the mass. Add powdered sugar and boil the mass over low heat until it thickens.

Separate whites and yolks of eggs. Grate yolks and vanilla sugar and add them to our mixture energetically stirring the mass. Cool the mass and place in a fridge for 15 minutes.

Whip whites until frothy and carefully add them to the prepared mass.

Grease baking cups with dairy butter and top them with powdered sugar slightly. Transfer the prepared mass to the cups. Bake soufflé in an oven preheated beforehand to 180°C (356°F) for 35 minutes.

Serve soufflé with your favorite jam.
