Easy unleavened dough for Varenitsy

33950.gifVarenitsy – it is a Slavonic dish which is widespread in the Ukraininan cuisine and cooked on the base of unleavened dough.


  • 600 g flour
  • 4 eggs
  • 200 ml water
  • 100 g dairy butter
  • 2 bulb onions
  • salt - to taste


Combine flour, eggs, salt, and water. Knead dough. Roll the dough into the layer with the depth - 2-3 cm. Сut it in the form of rectangles and boil them in salty water. Then dress varenitsy with dairy butter. Peel bulb onions, chop them and fry. Then add varenitsy. Mix the ingredients and put them in a deep stewing pan. Add butter and bake the dish for 30 minutes.
