Ukrainian beer (recipe from Zaporizhzhia)


  • 100 g of hops
  • 3 сups of sugar
  • 9-10 l (liter) of water
  • 2 cups of molasses
  • 50 g of yeast
  • flour


Combine hops with flour and sugar. Grind the mass thoroughly. Pour boiling water above, stir everything and draw the mixture for 2-3 hours. Then filter it, pour in a keg, add yeast dissolved in warm water and molasses. Stir everything carefully. Wait until beer begins to rise. Then pour the beer in bottles and cork them up. Store the prepared beer in a cold place.
